The annual “Grierson Days” reenactment was held June 15-16, 2013, in Community Park in Jacksonville, Illinois. “Grierson Days” commemorates the 1863 cavalry raid through Mississippi of Union Col. Benjamin Grierson, a Jacksonville resident.
