Sons of Veterans Reserve 4th Military District Change of Command Ceremony

The 4th Military District of the Sons of Veterans Reserve, Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, held a Change of Command Ceremony in the National Guard Assembly Hall at Jefferson Barracks in south St. Louis County, MO, on Sunday, November 17, at 1:30 p.m.  Retiring SVR Lt. Col. Jack Grothe, who served as commander of the 4th Military District for 16 years, turn command over to incoming commander Maj. David Lamb, of the 49th Iowa Infantry, SVR.  A number of Turner members participated in the ceremony.
