Sons of Veterans Reserve 4th Military District Change of Command Ceremony

The 4th Military District of the Sons of Veterans Reserve, Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, held a Change of Command Ceremony in the National Guard Assembly Hall at Jefferson Barracks in south St. Louis County, MO, on Sunday, November 17, at 1:30 p.m.  Retiring SVR Lt. Col. Jack Grothe, who served as commander of the 4^th Military District for 16 years, turn command over to incoming commander Maj. David Lamb, of the 49^th Iowa Infantry, SVR.  A number of Turner members participated in the ceremony.

Emmett Taylor, Robert Champlain, Jack Grothe and Steve Michaels were the outgoing 4th Military District staff.
