Jacksonville, IL: Grierson Days Reenactment
The annual “Grierson Days” reenactment was held June 20-21, 2015, in Community Park in Jacksonville, Illinois.
“Grierson Days” commemorates the 1863 cavalry raid through Mississippi of Union Col. Benjamin Grierson, a Jacksonville resident. Company M and Company G participated.
