Bloomfield, MO: Stars and Stripes Museum Liberty Days Living History
The Stars and Stripes Military Newspaper Museum hosted its 8th annual Liberty Days living history timeline at the museum site in Bloomfield, MO, October 1-4, 2020.
The Museum celebrates the Stars and Stripes military newspaper’s first edition, published November 9, 1861, by Union troops after they took possession of the Bloomfield Herald Newspaper office.
Other event sponsors included Crowley’s Ridge Black Powder club, the Bloomfield Lion’s Club, and the Wake Foundation.
